We tend to constantly go backwards and forwards between states of mind where we feel primarily frightened, persecuted, aggrieved, complaining and bearing a grudge against those who do not provide for us in the way we would wish – or primarily caring, appreciative of others and taking responsibility for our contribution to the difficult situations in which we find ourselves.
